About Vidya Lakshmi
Vidya Lakshmi is a first-of-its-kind portal for students seeking education loans. The portal has been developed under the guidance of the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance , the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development , and the Indian Banks Association (IBA) .
The portal has been developed and is maintained by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited . Students can use the portal to view, apply for, and track education loan applications submitted to participating banks.
Students can access the portal anytime and anywhere to manage their education loan applications. The portal also provides linkages to the National Scholarship Portal , helping students access additional financial assistance opportunities.
